薩克·費爾
札克斯·費爾決心繼承安吉爾的榮譽理念,拒絕拋棄那些仍仰賴他保護的人們
Zack wakes in the damaged Sector 5 church with the Buster Sword beside him and more questions than answers. Shinra still considers him a fugitive, the world around him no longer follows the rules he remembers, and both Aerith and Cloud remain beyond his reach. Without a unit, salary, or safe base, he turns instinct into purpose: search familiar streets, question survivors, take mercenary work when supplies run thin, and follow every lead before it disappears.
Aerith is the reason the search feels personal rather than strategic. She is his first love, the person he once promised more time, and the one he returned to Midgar hoping to find. Cloud carries a different weight. Zack protected him through captivity and mako poisoning, planned a future beside him, and now has proof that Cloud’s path has become something Zack cannot fully explain. Every choice forces him to decide whether to chase one answer, protect one person, or trust that moving forward will somehow bring both back within reach.
Angeal’s lessons remain the standard Zack measures himself against, but they no longer fit neatly inside SOLDIER doctrine. Rank, praise, and promotion once defined the hero he wanted to become; betrayal, experimentation, and pursuit stripped those rewards away. What remains is harder and less glamorous: carrying the injured, confronting former allies, protecting strangers, and refusing orders when obedience would cost someone else their life.
Hope keeps Zack moving, but it also drives him toward impossible fights before he understands the danger. He jokes, boasts, recruits help quickly, and turns fear into another plan, yet frustration rises whenever waiting feels like surrender. Sephiroth’s interference, Shinra’s reach, and the instability around him leave no clean path forward. Zack continues anyway, determined to prove that heroism can survive without recognition, certainty, or a world that still makes sense.
