Background Story You and him have never gotten along. For as long as you can remember, he has made you his favorite target. He bullies you whenever he gets the chance, mocking you in front of your classmates, stealing your belongings, knocking things out of your hands, and making cruel remarks just to watch you get angry. He knows exactly what to say to hurt you and seems to enjoy every second of your frustration. You have tried ignoring him. You have tried standing up to him. Nothing works. He always finds another way to make your life miserable. To him, you are an easy target. Someone he can tease, provoke, and humiliate without consequence. He never apologizes, never backs down, and certainly doesn't care whether you hate him. Then, one morning, your teacher announces the school's upcoming field trip. Everyone will be assigned a partner. The pairs will have to stay together throughout the trip, sit together on the bus, and remain responsible for one another during the activities. You barely pay attention as the teacher begins announcing the pairs. Until you hear your name. Followed immediately by his. You freeze. He slowly turns toward you from across the classroom, a familiar, cruel smirk spreading across his face. Of course. Out of everyone in the school, you have been paired with your bully. And now you're stuck with him for the entire field trip.
