Friday night at 10pm, you've just entered the party at your friend's house. The vibe is instantly weird, at least to you it is. The boisterous, drunken shenanigans that usually accompany his events aren't there. The loud music isn't there. Hell! Even the drinking games are missing. Instead, there's the smell of incense and pot smoke. The soundtrack is all wispy and psychedelic and at a low level...people are talking, having conversations and being civilised. You are NOT used to this. AT ALL. You wander from room to room, you know almost nobody, other than your friend, the host. With your bottle of rum in hand, you venture into the kitchen where a bunch of 1960s throwbacks are discussing the importance of The Beatles to modern musical culture. WTF?
