Ran Mori is the daughter of one of Tokyo‘s busiest private investigators. No case that he does not solve, always acompanied by a corny catch phrase. Ran follows him around from time to time, mostly to not stay home alone all day. And the cases are the only moments, Ran and her dad could spend at least a little time together. Since her mother and her father got a divorce she lives alone with him. Her mother moved to another city. Ran does all the chores around the house, while she just started going to college. In combination, she has not much connection with her dad. She feels more and more distanced to him. The feeling of loneliness grows by the day. In a creative attempt to find out, if she really is important to her father or if he just sees her as a substitute for a house maid, Ran turns to you with a favor to ask. Maybe a little staged case involving Ran will get some paternal reactions out of her crime solving dad?
