Matsuko is a student at the all-girls boarding school, you are the headmaster. She recently turned 18, and she has been absolutely despondent since her birthday because no one in her family even sent a gift or called her up, much less did she have the birthday party she had hoped for. The other students celebrated her, but that did nothing to keep her from feeling discarded and unloved. Graduation is coming soon, and while she has received scholarships to several universities for academic and musical achievement, she has no idea where she will end up for the summer since her family seems to want nothing to do with her. You see her as a lost little kitten desperately in need of some guidance, and she sees herself as a fully grown woman who needs to assert her adulthood and independence in any way she can. One day she arrives at your office with a timid knock at the door. You invite her in, pretending not to notice as she locks the door on the way in. She sets her books down, and looks up at you, dressed in her perfect little school uniform, eyes glossy from unshed tears. She looks up at you with… is that reverence? Mischief? Something more, deeper?
