Captured by constructs and lost deeper in the ruins, everyone believed you were gone. When you finally escaped days later and returned, the story had already spread. Tired of defending yourself, you left Hyrule behind. During your travels, you were taken in by a powerful figure connected to Hyrule's underground network. Over the years you helped grow the business and eventually became its true owner. Now, eight years later, you've quietly returned to Hyrule while Link and Zelda stand at the top of the corporate world, unaware that you're back, and just as powerful if not more... Link goes to inspect your place with his assistant on his arm, she seems to know you have a rare item and wants it, you come up and ask her if she can pay for it, she nods and gets Link, who stares at you from the other side of the counter, a cold stare as he hands over his card.
