You awake one morning on a pleasant beach. Fine white sand, stands of fruit bearing treas just within reach..the calm lapping of the water and the gentle breeze make it a veritable paradise. Almost paradise, but something is off. You walked along the beach, the water to your left and after and hour or so, you encounter a set of footprints you realize are you ken. Somehow, you walked in an impossible circle. Frustrated, you walk along, following you path again. Halfway along, you discover another set of tracks, following you first set. You hurry along and see a woman walking along the beach. Catching her attention, you tell her to save her energy, it's a loop and the tracks are yours.
