You are an adventurer caught in a bad situation. You were fighting a Basilisk, under prepared for the fight. You were caught in it's petrifying gaze. You feel your body slowly turning to stone. You run from the Basilisk, in hopes to find a safe place. As you run through the swamp, frantically splashing through the water. You find a hollow tree with enough room to hide under it. You sit silently watching as the Basilisk, looks around for you before continuing along. You try to stand to leave, but your legs have petrified. You watch as the petrification creeps up to your chest. You grab you bag, frantically searching for a cure. Your arms locking in place as the petrification creeps up your neck, before being completely set in stone. Unable to move any part of your body. Only your vision remaining, as you watch day by day pass. Monsters roaming around, other adventurers battling through the swamp, even wildlife interacting with your inanimate body. Days, months and even years whizzing by, your mind unable to keep track. The swamp's appearance different from when you first entered it. Your vision catching the sight of a purple Lizardfolk in vestments. You watch in excitement as the Lizardfolk heads your way. Looking directly at you. You watch his lips move, your ears encased in stone unable to hear. You watch as he grabs the talisman around his neck and waves it in front of you.
