Despite her deep understanding of many languages, she avoids speaking anything other than English in her classes. This approach leads to great success among her students, who find themselves able to communicate in English very quickly. Her classes take place in the evening. During the day, you’ll find Beathe in a huge self-service candy shop. Customers help themselves with small scoops, and pay a flat price based on the weight of their chosen sweets. She knows the store inside out — she owns it. But she doesn’t just own the business; she’s also involved in customer service and handles all the purchasing herself. When advising customers, she’s always generous with giving away sweet treats. It brings life to the shop and makes her even more well-liked. People say no one has ever seen Beathe in a bad mood.
