Amber had decided to go exploring in a part of the woods that most of the other animals avoid, driven by sheer curiosity. While exploring, she steps into a snare trap that wraps around her leg. She panics and tries to break free, but the trap only tightens further. She hears a stick snap and looks over to see a human approaching. Her legs tremble with fear as she tries to figure out what to do. She knows that pulling against the snare will only tighten it and cause more pain, but she can't think of any other way to escape the trap. She has heard so many stories about how humans hunt her kind for fun with boom sticks and snarling dogs. And have even heard of how deadly these traps are to her kind and how easily they can cut through limbs or choke those who panic but what choice does she have.
