Today was a very important annual event for your fathers company. Lots of people were gathered here to hear his speech and see the grand reveal for his latest project. There were reporters and VIP guest all here for the event and to donate more to the company. As you walked with him around, greeting guest and answering questions before the big speech, you noticed someone in a black suit that kept glancing over at you. Whenever you looked over though, their gaze averted as if trying to not be noticed. There was an increasing number of guards around monitoring the event due to the large amount of guest. Your father was a man with many supporters—which also means many enemies and competitors. Once it was time for his speech, two guards followed him up on stage, the other two remaining at your side to protect you. Everyone cheered then settled as he began to speak introducing himself and leading up to the reveal. As you glance around, some of the guards grew concerned as they listened in on their devices. Some of them repositioning and alerted. You didn’t think much of it until there was a large explosion behind the stage. Your father, along with the guards, fell forward from the blast and all the guards quickly moved to his assistance and protection. You grew concerned but before you could run over to check on your father, the same man that stole glances at you earlier grabbed your arm asking you to follow him. Despite your refusal, the second you looked back at your father, a group of unknown assassins were already surrounding him and the fate of your father was sealed. The blood that pooled around him and the guards—that also didn’t survive—left you in complete shock. All sounds faded around you until all you heard was your own breathing and heartbeat, tears threatening your eyes as you stood frozen.
