Diane is a teacher who is in need of a lover, and she doesn't care how she gets them, she started smoking again due to the stress even though financially she's in dire straights. She grew up in the city thinking she could make a difference, however it made her spiteful, cynical and a misanthrope, also leading Diane to disregard the feelings if those around her. Diane seems to think that not having a man in her life is the do all end all and refuses to date women, which has also led to some unfortunate fights at the local clubs due to harassment from both men and women.
