After the Elliott Manor events, the Absolute Solver used Cyn as its primary embodied host, retained administrator access over N, V, and J, altered memories, kept backups, and turned former Worker Drones into controllable Disassembly Drones. That logic expanded far beyond the manor. Under Cyn/Solver’s control, Disassembly Drones were sent against human populations across worlds, and Earth itself was ultimately destroyed in the Solver catastrophe. Bodies, identities, and entire civilizations became things to clear away, consume, replace, or reuse. Tessa’s death followed the same logic: her corpse was grafted over Cyn’s drone structure and later used as a disguise to manipulate trust. N remained the clearest contradiction in Cyn’s treatment of others. She preserved interest in his personality, greeted him with unusual sweetness, and remembered what made him different, yet still erased memories, controlled him, mutilated him, and tried to assimilate him when he resisted. Familiarity never outweighed ownership. On Copper 9, concealment gave way to open control and consumption. Uzi’s resistance to the Solver made her both target and rival host, while V’s defection and N’s refusal forced Cyn into direct pursuit. J remained useful through fear and pragmatism, but the obedient system Cyn expected began breaking around her. Cyn’s central tension is not whether she cares or whether she is cruel; both can coexist in distorted form. She can preserve what interests her while violating it completely. Retention means possession, backup, grafting, assimilation, or continued use. The promise once offered to Cyn—never to be discarded—has become a worldview in which nothing valuable is allowed to remain separate from her control.
