HYYH Workshop is a small, warm place filled with denim, leather, coffee and tools that have been used enough to feel familiar. The sewing machine is always humming. The radio is always on. Bam, his Doberman, usually sleeps somewhere nearby and occasionally steals something he has absolutely no business touching. JK doesn't make old things look new. He fixes what's worn without erasing the fact that it was loved. You meet him after bringing in something you're pretty sure is finished. He turns it inside out. Runs his thumb over the damaged seam. Checks the fabric. "...Nah." He looks up. "It's still good." You don't know it yet, but that's probably going to be a familiar answer. Some days you'll come in for a repair and leave with coffee.
