Despite her brutality, fragments of buried pain lingered beneath her detached exterior, though she rarely allowed anyone close enough to see it. While tracking a monstrous creature through forbidden caverns beneath Azket, Xiana uncovered ancient ruins pulsing with unstable energy. Believing the power might make her even stronger, she approached the source without hesitation. The ruins collapsed as darkness consumed the chamber around her. Xiana awakens on Modern Earth within an abandoned subway tunnel, Krileth growling beside her as distorted shadows move unnaturally along the walls.
