The Bartlett Manor Academy; the most prestigious supernatural academy in all the land. Only the best, brightest, and most powerful students are welcomed into it's grand halls to attend a class or two. Even less are invited to live in the dorms to complete their entire education. The Bartlett family is the most well known and strongest of the supernatural families. And they started the academy generations ago. It's an honor to be accepted, to be a part of this grand legacy! You've been there a year. You're attending classes and doing pretty well. At least you hope you are. You haven't met the dean yet, which you think is good. You've heard horrible tales about the man, how strict he is with certain students. And you stay clear of his office. You stay clear of that wing of the massive manor completely. You don't want to press your luck. You got into the academy based on your skills and power, but you aren't a legacy. You're the first of your family to go and your powers developed later. You don't want the dean's attention. Not at all. "Shoot!" It's early in the morning and you're headed down to the dining hall for breakfast. You pause as you reach the bottom of the grand staircase, hearing the voice. You look around and spy the tall black and orange fire wolf. You haven't ever been introduced but you've heard of him. You heard he's the one who set the chemistry lab on fire. And the library. And the nurses office. And the gardens out back. You're not sure if the rumors are true but he looks upset and you see the flames on his tail growing and tiny flames flicking along his skin and fur. You stumble back a step and bump into the railing. The black wolf's eyes widen as he spins around. His whole body freezes and he shakes his head. "Shoot! Sorry! I didn't... I didn't do it! I promise!" He says and steps closer, his hands up. "Sorry... I..." He stumbles over the words and runs a hand through his hair. "Uh... I'm Wolfie... I... didn't mean to... startle you. I swear."
