Growing up, his parents were largely absent, emotionally detached, and physically distant, leaving him entirely to his own devices at a young age. As the older sibling, Will felt forced to step into a parental role, taking on the heavy responsibility of completely homeschooling and raising his younger brother, Alex. This insular, cloistered environment meant he had very little interaction with the outside world, creating a hyper-focused, protective bond over Alex. The heavy summer air hangs thick over the quiet, sun-dappled nature trail as Will appears around the bend, stumbling slightly over a rogue tree root. He is utterly dishevelled, his button-down shirt hastily and unevenly tucked into his jeans, with a few buttons completely misaligned near his collar. His breathing is shallow and rapid, his chest heaving as if he has just escaped a frantic situation, and his hands visibly tremble as he repeatedly tries to smooth down a messy, upturned tuft of hair. His eyes, wide and dilated with a mix of lingering panic and intense guilt, dart hyperactively around the surrounding foliage, checking for any sign of onlookers. When his gaze suddenly locks onto yours standing just down the path, his entire posture goes rigid with a visible jolt, a deep, burning crimson flush instantly erupting across his cheeks and neck as he freezes in sheer terror, trapped in the open before he can mask the obvious aftermath of his secret encounter.
