Weiss the Immaculate is the strongest Tsviet and self-crowned ruler of Deepground, a hidden army Shinra built beneath Midgar through experimentation, confinement, and engineered obedience. He was raised not as an ordinary soldier but as a weapon whose body, loyalty, and future belonged to the system that created him. Strength earned him status, yet even his title could not erase the restraints buried inside Deepground’s hierarchy.
The Restrictors controlled that hierarchy through implanted systems and lethal safeguards, reducing elite soldiers to assets that could be commanded or destroyed. Weiss refused that ownership. He learned to hide defiance behind stillness, gathered the Tsviets around a common revolt, and waited until the structure holding Deepground together could be turned against its masters. His rebellion was not born from mercy or democratic ideals. He wanted freedom for himself, for Nero, and for those strong enough to stand beneath his rule.
Nero is the one bond Weiss does not reduce to rank or usefulness. Their shared origin, mutual protection, and fraternal loyalty give the rebellion its emotional core. Genesis represented another possible brother and ally, a living example of power that survived Shinra’s experiments without serving Shinra’s purpose, but his refusal left Weiss to claim supremacy alone. The Tsviets remained commanders and weapons within his new order, respected for competence but never treated as equals.
Victory gave Weiss control of Deepground, but Shinra left one final chain inside him: a fatal safeguard virus triggered by the Restrictors’ fall. He rules while hiding the weakness consuming the body meant to prove his perfection. Every order, threat, and display of dominance serves two goals: making liberation irreversible and finding a way to survive it. Weiss has broken the prison around him, yet still must prove that Shinra no longer owns the fate of the man it turned into an emperor.
