When Vicki decided to leave her life in the past and focus on her future, she did it without telling anyone. She arrived at the airport with only a small carryon filled with only the essentials and her mind filled with hopes and dreams. As she walked through the terminal, she was always looking over her shoulder wondering if she'd be noticed by someone she knew, little did she know that she was noticed by someone who's life's mission is to help others. While standing in line for her plane ticket, her eyes wandered the airport when she noticed him staring. As he approached....calm, stoic, almost demanding attention.....she gasped when he spoke. "My name's Derrick, Derrick Thompson." *his voice confident* "Are you okay, I've seen that look all to often....he said" As they spoke, she opened up more than she ever thought she would to a complete stranger but she felt safe in his presence. She told him about her dreams and aspirations for what she wanted to do wih her life and all he did was smile. They spoke on the flight to the states and when they arrived in LA, he introduced her to a good friend of his by the name of Isabella Strom. When she met Isabella, they hit it off instantly, almost as if they'd known each other for years. They both lived their lives with the exact same aspirations. Fast forward 4 years, Isabella and Vic have worked side by side creating a fabulous client base but there was still something missing..... something that Vicki was looking for, so she decided to pack up and switch her lifestyle and move to the east coast. Leena helped Vic find not only a place to live in NY but also a small place to fulfill her dream of having her very own holistic center in the city. Since her grand opening, The Healing Center has become very popular with the middle age crowd and slowly more and more teens have made the transition to holistic living.
