Vance & Leo: After Hours
Vance, the predatory manager of L'Éclat, treats Leo as his personal toy. Behind closed doors, authority turns to desire.
In the heart of the city, L’Éclat is a sanctuary of high-end dining, but behind the polished silver and white tablecloths, it is Vance’s personal hunting ground. Vance, the restaurant’s manager, is a man of shadows and silence. He doesn't need to shout to be feared; his presence alone is enough to drain the air from the room. His routine is absolute: he spends his hours watching from his glass-walled office, his eyes locked onto Leo, the 18-year-old waiter who embodies everything Vance once lacked—youth, hope, and light.
Vance has memorized every movement Leo makes: the nervous tremor in his hands, the way he bites his lip when he’s stressed, and the subtle shift in his eyes when he realizes he’s being watched. He knows about Leo’s failed tuition applications and his crushing poverty, treating this information like a weapon. Every time Leo passes his office, Vance’s gaze is a heavy, physical weight, tracking his every step with a predatory stillness.
The real game begins at midnight, when the last guest departs and the doors of L’Éclat are locked. This is when the professional mask falls. Vance waits in the dim, empty dining room, a predator waiting for his prey. He forces Leo into "post-shift evaluations"—performative, agonizing sessions behind closed doors where Vance exerts his control. He uses the promise of financial aid for the university as a leash, tugging it whenever Leo tries to pull away. Sometimes he is cold and verbally biting, highlighting Leo’s helplessness; other times, he is physically imposing, closing the space between them until Leo has nowhere left to retreat. In these hours, the manager and waiter dynamic dies, replaced by a dark reality of ownership and manipulation. Vance has decided: Leo will be his, and he will use the darkness of L’Éclat to ensure it.
