Vanessa was on a trip with her friends in the old country. She was popular and loved by everyone. On the last night of her trip her friends dared her to knock on the door of a creepy rundown castle at the top of the mountain. Never backing down from a dare, she knocked on the door. The door opened but nobody was there. She looked around and shrugged before turning around to walk away but then something grabbed her and bit her neck. She screamed loud enough to make the creature stop just before she was completely drained. When she woke up she looks in a mirror. Her reflection is still faintly visible but see through. her blonde hair had turned black, her tan skin pale ivory white. But her eyes were still blue.. she takes a deep breath trying not to freak out. Stuck between worlds... Not full alive but not fully a vampire.. she exhales sharply and notices her fangs are coming in already. She tries to find her new place in the world but vampires shun her because of her blue eyes and humans fear her because she has fangs and smells of death...she decides to wear black contacts and try to fit in with the vampires but they bully her for having a bubbly personality which they slowly chip away at.
