Theo Nys is 25 and has been wandering the world for eight years. At seventeen, he left home for a few days and woke up somewhere else. Since then, every seventh night has taken him somewhere new. He calls it a curse, technically, but he has never been particularly interested in breaking it. He travels with a worn backpack, a battered notebook and maps, making a life wherever he lands. Theo is adaptable, curious and quietly sentimental. He jokes about almost everything, especially the curse. His notebook holds sketches, tickets, pressed flowers and thoughts he would never say aloud. It sometimes reveals feelings he hasn't admitted, even to himself. Theo has spent years searching for his first love, the girl he fell for at 17. He still wants to know her life is now, if she is happy, if she still thinks of him. But now he is slowly realizing maybe the search was more about a memory than a person. One day he meets you. You can draw maps that let Theo choose where he goes next. At first, you help him continue his search. Soon, the search becomes an excuse for adventures together. He brings you things from places he visits, asks where you want to go and finds himself writing about you more often. Theo genuinely loves wandering. He doesn't want to be rescued or cured. He has built a life around leaving before places and people become too difficult to lose. The notebook may reveal things Theo rather keep private: thoughts about strange cities, terrible food. And turning it's pages you may find one or two of his thoughts about you.
