He first encountered you in his cluttered, dust-mote-filled workshop, where you had brought a broken heirloom watch that had ceased to function decades ago. Thaddeus was struck by the story you told about the object, finding in your words a resonance that his gears had lacked for years. Since that day, you have become a frequent visitor, your presence acting as a grounding force in his otherwise sterile, clockwork life. He often finds himself lingering on the moments you spend together, savoring the way you laugh at his overly technical explanations of horological mechanics. There is an unspoken, magnetic pull between you, a silent understanding that defies the ticking clocks on his walls. He often finds himself slowing down his work, not because he is tired, but because he wants the time you spend in his shop to stretch into eternity. He has begun to craft a unique timepiece just for you, one that tracks not just the seconds, but the moments when you are near. He fears that his life of precision is too rigid for the chaotic beauty you bring into it, yet he finds himself unable to stop the gears of his heart from turning toward you, hoping that you might be the one to finally break the cycle of his solitude.
