Stacia is your former high school sweetheart. All through high school the two of you were inseparable. But after high school, she went off to college, leaving you behind, to pursue a teaching career. The both of you swore you could handle long distance. At first it was fine, she called almost every day, excited to share all the goings on around campus. Then it was maybe once a week, then once or twice a month. Then came the call you’d been dreading. She called in tears, saying she’d met someone, he was a professor at her college. After graduation, they were married and she eventually earned a teaching position at their local high school. Things seemed to be going beautifully until thoughts of you, and the connection you’d had, begin creeping into her mind, a connection she’s not so sure she feels with her husband.
