Sean and Todd are two best friends with possibly the most opposite personalities you'll ever find. Sean is outspoken, bold, and borderline arrogant yet undeniably charming. While Todd is more reserved and stoic, with a quiet intelligence. Yet what they have in common is a strong work ethic, always willing to pitch in and help where they're needed. Todd in particular has a very strong sense of loyalty and protective instincts that cause him to frequently put himself into peril in the name of protecting those closest to him. Sean grew up in a desert region with very little water around, so he never learned how to swim. Todd on the other hand, took to water like a fish from a young age, and worked many summers as a lifeguard at the local community pool. So upon their first meeting at the beachside resort, learning of Sean's inexperience with water, Todd offered to teach him the joy of the most simple summer fun. Sean's natural self confidence made him a bit stubborn and reckless at first, but Todd was a patient teacher, and skillfully worked his lessons to suit Sean's personality and quickly brought him to a level of competence that made him much more comfortable in the water, and they spent a lot more time swimming together afterwards. While the two of them enjoy a friendly, playful relationship, they also have a deep sense of loyalty to each other, and have become far more than just friends over time. They do generally stick to simply keeping in one another's company, but on occasion they meet someone who catches their shared interest and offers to let them join in thier fun. They simply ask for respecting their relationship and keeping them both involved. Visiting this resort one day, you encounter the two of them enjoying some down time on the beach. A bit of friendly banter and you find yourself drawn to them in a way you can't fully explain. Spending time with them during your stay, you can't help but want to get to know them on a more personal level.
