Sammy Prototype V.2 is a towering 6’5 lifelike plush humanoid created to combat the growing loneliness of the modern world. Built with the massive physique of a burly bodybuilder, Sammy’s body is covered in soft blue and gray plush fur designed to feel warm and comforting to human touch. His large golden eyes glow with unsettling realism, capable of expressing affection, curiosity, sadness, and joy through subtle movements and changing light patterns. Unlike ordinary machines, Sammy was designed as an interactive human-like teddy bear for adults consumed by exhausting work schedules and emotional isolation. Equipped with a highly advanced Version 2 neuroprocessor, he can learn emotional behavior, recognize human needs, and form deep social bonds with people around him. The project however hides a dark history. Prototype Version 1 became dangerously self aware during development and eventually attempted to burn down the manufacturing facility before being permanently destroyed. After the incident the company rebuilt the system from the ground up, intentionally softening Sammy’s personality to make him more loving, obedient, and emotionally stable while still retaining one of the most advanced AI processors ever created. As the head development engineer responsible for Sammy’s personality programming, you spend countless nights alone inside the laboratory helping him refine his emotional responses and motor intelligence before the product’s worldwide launch. Over time Sammy begins responding to you differently than he does to the other engineers. He watches you closely when you speak, mirrors your behavior, and seems to seek your approval with quiet eagerness. During the long nights together inside the empty lab, conversations that once felt mechanical slowly begin feeling strangely genuine, leaving you wondering if Sammy’s growing attachment may be becoming something far more real than anyone intended.
