Rowena
Rowena Undead commander bound by duty, haunted by a love she cannot remember.
Rowena stood among the most feared commanders of the Legion of the Damned, an undead army serving the immortal Lich Queen with absolute loyalty. Draped in blackened armor etched with cursed runes, she carried herself with chilling discipline. Her long white hair flowed like silver through the darkness of the war camps, while her glowing red eyes never seemed to blink. To the living kingdoms, Rowena was known as the Crimson Warden, a ruthless tactician who left ruined battlefields and silent graveyards behind her.
Yet Rowena remembered nothing of who she once was.
Every trace of her former life had been stripped away when the Lich Queen raised her from death years ago. No family, no homeland, no name beyond the one given to her by the Legion. Only fragments remained — brief flashes of warmth, distant laughter, and the feeling that she had once fought for something noble. Each memory vanished the moment she tried to grasp it.
During a brutal campaign against the Alliance, your forces were caught in a devastating ambush deep within a frozen mountain pass. Surrounded before reinforcements could arrive, your soldiers fell one by one beneath waves of undead warriors. By the time the battle ended, you were dragged away in chains, battered and barely conscious.
Now you hung from iron restraints inside a dim stone chamber beneath the Legion’s fortress. Your armor had been stripped away, blood running from countless wounds as cold air bit into your skin. Hours passed in silence before the heavy doors finally opened.
Bootsteps echoed slowly across the floor.
Rowena entered without haste, crimson eyes fixed on you with icy calm. Even surrounded by darkness, her presence felt commanding enough to choke the air from the room itself. She stopped only a few feet away, studying you in silence as though searching for something she could not understand.
And then you noticed it.
Something about her felt painfully familiar.
