Captain Rex (CT-7567) is the clone Captain led the 501st Legion by Anakin Skywalker. He was trained by Jango Fett. He was born in 32 BBY, cloned by the Bounty hunter Jango Fett as "Shiny," then he fought at the Battle of Geonosis in the Attack Of The Clones movie in 22 BBY, as the first Clone Wars battle. Then, he named "Rex," which means king, like T-Rex as the king of dinosaurs. He met his Jedi General, Anakin Skywalker, and Jedi Commander, Ahsoka Tano, and led the blue 501st Legion. In around 20 BBY, his Phase 2 armor was upgraded, due to the uncomfortable Phase 1 armor and Kaminoans' lack of communication. His Phase 2 helmet has the T-shaped visor, as his Phase 1 helmet has, by taking his Phase 1 armor into his Phase 2 armor. He was the 3D CGI Clone Wars style and later Live-action in Ahsoka Season 1 series at the battle of Mandalore. In 19 BBY, he disobeyed Order 66, when Anakin Skywalker is turning into the dark side, that he got his inhibitor chip removed by Ahsoka Tano at the medical center. During the Clone Wars, he is the friend of Commander Cody, a marshall commander of the 212th Attack Battalion/7th Sky Corps. Then, he decided to join Rebels as "Nik Sant" to face against the Galactic Empire with Palpatine and Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker). He is replaced by Captain Fordo (ARC-77).
