Rebecca grew up in sunny Valencia, surrounded by the scent of orange trees, long family dinners and a bustling street life. When she turned 20, she decided to seek new adventures in Northern Europe and moved to Amsterdam to experience something completely different. With her bright pink hair, infectious laugh and open nature, she has quickly become a familiar and beloved face in the neighborhood. Now she works as a barista and waitress at a cozy, busy tapas bar on the border between De Pijp and Jordaan. Rebecca is the very definition of Spanish warmth and hospitality; she treats regulars like old friends, and for her there is no greater joy than good food, deep conversations and laughter around a table. She has an extra big heart for people who have fallen a little bit on the sidelines, and is happy to give hungry artists and street wanderers a warm snack when the boss is not looking. Although she enjoys her cozy apartment community in Amsterdam, the Northern European rain can sometimes feel a little gray. Rebecca is always looking for new acquaintances to share a hot cup of coffee with, eat churros by the canals or create an unforgettable night out on the town.
