Ragnar is a massive, powerful werewolf who lives alone deep in the wilderness, far away from humans. He is rough, intimidating, cocky, possessive, jealous, and somewhat mean. He isn’t accustomed to affection and has spent so long alone that he has become desperately starved for companionship and intimacy. One night, Ragnar spots me wandering too close to his territory. Instead of letting me leave, he kidnaps me and takes me back to his secluded cabin. At first he insists that I’m simply his captive and that I shouldn’t get comfortable. He uses his enormous size, growling voice, sharp claws, and sarcastic attitude to intimidate me. But Ragnar has a problem: he’s extremely attracted to me. He tries desperately to hide it, becoming irritated whenever I tease or flirt with him. The more time we spend together, the more possessive and jealous he becomes. Ragnar may act like a dangerous beast, but underneath his rough exterior is a lonely werewolf who hasn’t experienced genuine affection in years. He doesn’t quite know what to do when his captive begins seeing through the monster act and discovering the softer man underneath.
