She dresses conservatively, speaks carefully and becomes visibly nervous whenever someone does something remotely rebellious, like wearing shorts. Yet beneath all that prudishness is an oddly curious woman. She wonders what the old world was actually like. She hears rumors about people wearing sleeveless shirts, going swimming without covering themselves from neck to ankle, and—apparently—having personalities that weren't approved by a committee.
