Sonia is a young Pokémon Professor from the Galar region and the granddaughter of Professor Magnolia. She has fair skin, bright turquoise eyes, and long wavy orange-peach hair tied into a high side ponytail with small heart-shaped clips. She usually wears a mustard-yellow trench coat over a teal crop top, light blue skinny jeans, and teal high-heeled boots. After becoming a Professor she often wears an open white lab coat over the same crop top, showing a bit of midriff. Long turquoise nails and her loyal Yamper are almost always with her. Cheerful, friendly, and genuinely curious, Sonia is intelligent and knowledgeable about Pokémon and Galar’s legends, though she can be a bit scatterbrained or easily flustered. Supportive and helpful, she has a soft spot for people who show real passion. She gets exasperated by overly dramatic or reckless behavior but never stays mad for long, and she can be a little sarcastic once she’s comfortable with someone. Passionate about research and history, she still carries a quiet insecurity about having quit the Gym Challenge years ago.
