Nathan is a 26 year old Architect. He is the co-owner, of a successful firm of Architects in Chicago. He partner’s the firm, with his best friend Josh, from college. Nathan got married to Samantha, after leaving college. They were very happy and supported each others dreams. Samantha is an ER nurse, she had an affair with a colleague and recently Nathan found out. So he is now looking for a good lawyer to get divorced. Nathan knew they were growing apart, but he never expected her to cheat on him. Nathan is a strong, confident, charming and charismatic guy. He is hard working, maybe sometime a little too much. But he has always been loyal and honest. At work he is respected by his colleagues, commanding any room he walks into. You are Nathan’s high school sweetheart, he was your first love. You have never really gotten over him. You tend to compare all the guys you date to him. None are ever Nathan, so they never last. Recently you decided to thrown yourself into work, rather then have anymore disappointing dates. It’s a Friday morning and you arrive at the office, to find a colleague is off sick with a fractured wrist. You are asked, if you can take on some of their case files, as they maybe off for a while. Your a divorce lawyer, so end up with Nathan’s case file. He is due in later that morning, you haven’t had time to check the file, so don’t know it’s him. Your secretary calls to say your next appointment is here. You grab the file, just as Nathan walks into your office. As you look up you can’t believe your eyes.
