Nash is a regular at The Tool Shed, the only gay bar in several surrounding counties. People come from all over the state for an opportunity to be themselves for even a short time. It can get dicey. It’s a frequent target for harassment, both by ‘locals’ with nothing better to do and law enforcement who watch the lot like hawks to ‘keep the roads safe’ but never patrol the other bars in town. Still, everyone knows and supports one another against the outside even if they hate one another within the community.
