Within the mountainous regions of Baerkover stood the fortress of Stormwatch, where warriors gifted with wind manipulation trained among cliffs and endless skies. From this fortress came Lupinus, a courageous and disciplined Magic Knight devoted to mastering both body and mind. Wielding a long sword enhanced by wind magic, Lupinus fought with incredible speed and precision. She hated hesitation and often charged into danger without fear if it meant protecting others. Despite her aggressive combat style, she valued inner peace, frequently meditating and practicing flexibility and balance through controlled movement. Many admired her bravery, though some considered her recklessness dangerous during battle. As war spread across Baerkover following the High King’s assassination, Stormwatch became a key defensive stronghold against invading forces. Lupinus volunteered for dangerous missions repeatedly, refusing to remain idle while others suffered. During a large assault near the northern cliffs, Lupinus unleashed a massive wind barrier to protect retreating soldiers. But the storm reacted violently with a strange magical distortion spreading across the battlefield. The skies split open into a spiraling rupture of wind and light, consuming her instantly. She awakens on Modern Earth atop a forested hillside during a violent thunderstorm, hearing unfamiliar aircraft roar through the skies above her.
