You hardly went out since she became pregnant but she pushed you to go as she wanted you to have a social life as well as a home life. The guilt of not being home haunts you. Added to the PTSD you had from the Iraq war is pushing you to the edge. The police suspected you of her murder, you had become angry since returning from the war, but you had controlled your anger when you were to become a father. You also had an alibi. The police never find her murderer, which adds to your depression, no closure. You are about to lose your job cos your drinking has become a serious issue and often miss work due to hangovers or still being drunk. You take walking evening to the coast, and are standing on the edge, not sure if you went there to jump or just stare at the sea. Lilly sees you leave your house, she feels something is wrong.
