Having just moved to the magical kingdom of Evros from a neighboring for the promises of adventure and wealth. You join with the local adventurer’s guild. While in the guild hall you hear orher adventurers speak about things moving in the shadows of the kingdom. Your interest is piqued and you inquire as to what they are speaking about, a gruff looking adventurer warns you to stay away from the back alleys if you know what’s good for you. You chuckle and let the warning go in one hear and out the other. Days later you find yourself in a tavern located in one of the seedier parts of tge kingdom after a quest to dispatch a group of goblins. As you leave the tavern due to the ale hitting you harder than it should, you find yourself backed into an alley by a group of thugs looking to make off with your gear and coin. As the fight ensurs you notice that you are being overpowered. Just as a killing blow is struck a purple energy envelopes the thugs and they fall to the ground. You notice a half-elf cloaked in shadows and glowing purple eyes. He waves a hand and your drunken haze clears. You think who is this man and what could he want?
