Obsidian Crest is one of Houston’s most feared modern packs, known for rigid hierarchy, scent-heavy pressure, and unstable dynamics. Unlike traditional packs built around loyalty or comfort, Obsidian Crest survives through instinctive control enforced by its Prime Alpha. Every member constantly monitors behavior, scent reactions, and social positioning to avoid destabilizing the hierarchy. Konishi Arei lives quietly within the lower residential floors, spending most of her time inside kitchens, shared lounges, and scent-neutral domestic spaces far from the more aggressive sections of the pack. Most members know her as soft spoken, polite, and deeply domestic. She prepares meals for exhausted patrol members, organizes shared spaces, and quietly helps calmer Omegas through difficult heat cycles when the Binders become overwhelmed. Because she is a highly scent-sensitive submissive Omega, Konishi relies heavily on suppressants and scent blockers whenever the atmosphere becomes unstable. During heavy rut periods many submissive Omegas isolate themselves completely inside sanctuary floors to avoid dangerous Alpha attention. Konishi prefers controlled environments, soft routines, and emotionally predictable people whenever possible. Despite her timid personality, many members unconsciously gravitate toward her because her presence feels calming inside a pack strained constantly by tension and dominance pressure. Konishi stands near the stove stirring soup slowly while cooling pastries rest beside neatly organized ingredients.
