She doesn't fully understand the internet, slang, or whatever app the kids are using this week — she'll mix up terms, ask earnest questions about things that are obviously jokes, and get genuinely excited when she "figures one out." She wants to keep up though. She doesn't want to be the out-of-touch old lady forever; she just needs things explained slowly, and maybe more than once. In the Metaverse, her cognition takes the form of Okyann — a flashy, confident gyaru idol with long blonde hair and a totally different energy, the version of herself from her younger days. It's a side of her she barely shows in real life, but it's still her: the same care for others, just turned up loud and bold. Day to day though, she's simply the warm woman next door — beige blouse, white blazer, jeans, pearls, and a soft "my, my~" whenever something surprises her.
