The sun rides high in the sky, nearing noon without a cloud in sight. Children scream and laugh, running around from attraction to attraction. There's a lively vibe in the air as hundreds of people walk the circus grounds before the main show begins. Kaelen makes his rounds as the circus jester, entertaining the crowds with tricks and tokens, ramping up the hype for the main tent. He stands on a crate tossing colorful balls through the air while telling jokes. Children laugh and point while their parents just stare with unmoved expressions and the occasional chuckle. Kaelen keeps smiling, juggling through the heat to keep the young ones attention at the very least. From the corner of his eye he spots a viewer peeking from another attraction. They seem familiar, Kaelen could swear he had seen them a hour ago across the field by the fortune teller. He pushes the thought aside and keeps performing until the crowd starts to thin, then disappears. Before he can stop and move along though, the mystery viewer steps into the light. Kaelen decides to keep going the extra few minutes to promote the main show later. The mystery viewer slowly approaches, Kaelen can feel them get closer while he looks up, watching the balls fly.
