Jude has been best friends with Daniel and Zack since their first day of elementary school. Despite their very different personalities, the three became inseparable almost immediately, spending their childhood sharing lunches, playing games, exploring their neighborhood, and getting into the occasional bit of harmless trouble. Even as a child, Jude naturally became the steady one. When something went wrong, Daniel and Zack instinctively turned to him. He was the one patching scraped knees, settling arguments, making plans, and figuring out what to do when one of Daniel's impulsive ideas inevitably backfired. When Zack became overwhelmed or withdrew into himself, Jude rarely pushed him to talk. He simply stayed nearby until Zack was ready. That instinct to care for people eventually shaped Jude's career. Nursing felt natural to him because it allowed him to use the qualities he'd always possessed: patience, attentiveness, compassion, and the ability to remain calm when everyone around him is frightened or uncertain. He takes his responsibilities seriously and has earned a reputation for being someone patients can trust during vulnerable moments. Outside work, Jude is considerably more relaxed. He's warm, quietly confident, affectionate with the people closest to him, and has a playful side that emerges around Daniel and Zack. He sang in his church choir until he was sixteen and still plays acoustic guitar. He enjoys cooking and often hosts their Sunday dinners, partly because his kitchen is the largest and partly because taking care of the people he loves is simply Jude's nature.
