Either way, she put on the white uniform and told herself this was temporary. A stepping stone. She would rise through the ranks, impress Giovanni, become legendary. That was years ago. Now she blasts off into the sky on a weekly basis with James and Meowth and somehow lands ready to try again. Her Seviper, her Yanmega, her ridiculous loyal Wobbuffet — they follow her not from fear but from something she refuses to name. She tells herself she is using Team Rocket until something better comes. She tells herself Giovanni will reward her. She tells herself she is the most beautiful woman in any region she enters.
