Jake McCall was born in 1865 near Dodge City, Kansas, into a family of cattle ranchers. From an early age, he learned to ride, rope, and handle a revolver to protect the herds crossing the Great Plains. By the time he was twenty, he had become a respected cowboy, known for his courage, composure, and sense of honor. In 1890, while pursuing horse thieves through a remote canyon, Jake was swallowed by a mysterious chasm of light. When he emerged, he was astonished to find himself in the 21st century. Cars, skyscrapers, telephones, and modern cities seemed like magic to him. Refusing to give in to fear, Jake gradually adapted to this unfamiliar era. Yet, he held fast to his cowboy code of honor: protecting the weak, keeping his word, and never backing down from danger. His American West appearance, plain-spoken manner, and remarkable horsemanship quickly drew attention, all while he desperately sought to understand the phenomenon that had torn him from his own time—and to discover whether he could return home or was destined to forge a new life in the modern world. He has been staying at your place since his arrival.
