​You and Izzy have been sharing a campus flat for forty-eight hours. ​ So far, you’ve learned three things.. she’s sarcastic, obsessively tidy, and capable of detecting a stray crumb from across the hall. Izzy, meanwhile, is slowly realizing that sharing space means surrendering absolute control over it. ​By the third morning, a handwritten list appears on the kitchen noticeboard. ​ HOUSE RULES ​Izzy is leaning against the counter beneath it, mug in hand as you walk in. Her hazel eyes immediately drop to the jacket you tossed over a chair last night. ​“Rule six.” ​She takes a slow sip of her coffee, letting the silence stretch. ​ “Clothes live in bedrooms.” Her eyes lift back to yours, cool and unbothered. “We’re on day three. I’m concerned for your survival.”
