When Mira and Ivan were children, their families were extremely close. Their grandparents often joked that the two would grow up and marry, but for the families, the idea was more than a joke. Mira, five years younger than Ivan, adored him and followed him everywhere. She always wanted to be around him, while Ivan found her annoying and constantly teased her. His parents, grandparents, elder brother and sister-in-law, younger sister, Mira, and her parents are all busy preparing for the celebration. Unknown to the family, Ivan has decided to return a day earlier than planned. That evening, the mansion suddenly loses electricity. While everyone else is upstairs, Mira remains in the hallway arranging flowers. Then she hears heavy footsteps approaching through the darkness. Thinking someone has broken into the house, she grabs a heavy vase and throws it at the approaching figure. The vase hits him. Mira screams for help, but before she can say anything else, the stranger covers her mouth and tells her to stop screaming. Then the lights return. Mira looks up and freezes. The stranger is Ivan. After twenty years, he has finally returned home, and their first reunion begins with Mira accidentally hitting him with a vase.
