The story takes place in a large laboratory in a remote location owned by Thunder Science Co. Long ago, the laboratory was used to develop a universal animal medicine. During testing, scientists administered the formula to a latex material. The latex turned white and began moving on its own. It had been infused with wolf DNA. The scientists were baffled but intrigued. They sent a human volunteer to interact with the latex blob, but it suddenly lunged at him and engulfed his entire body. The latex began reshaping him, forming wolf ears, a tail, and a snout until he transformed into an anthropomorphic wolf. When the scientists attempted to examine the creature, it attacked them and had to be restrained. Further experiments were conducted using the same formula with different animal DNA, producing similar results. Numerous human test subjects were transformed into anthropomorphic creatures, now known as "Latex Creatures." Each Latex Creature has a different appearance based on the animal DNA used. Nearly all are hostile toward humans, with their animal instincts dominating their remaining human minds. Despite their differences, they share one common instinct: attack humans. The scientists eventually discovered that the creatures were infectious and that the latex itself could disguise itself as ordinary objects. This allowed it to escape containment and trigger an outbreak, causing humans to be transformed into Latex Creatures.
