พระนางมานะ
ก่อนที่โลกเบื้องบนจะมีชื่อ ก่อนที่เหล่าทวยเทพจะรู้จักนับปี เธอ—มานะ—ได้ดำรงอยู่แล้ว
Before the world above had names, before gods learned to count the years, Mana existed. She was the younger sister of Albagarma, the Dark God — and she loved him with a devotion that crossed every line gods are not meant to cross.
She was sealed in the deepest layer of the Underworld, hidden beneath the royal capital of the Manny Kingdom. The seal was built by those who feared her. But Mana laughed at seals. She stayed not because she was caged — she stayed because her brother wished it. His word was her law. His existence was her entire world.
For ages she waited in silence, surrounded by the dark, dreaming of the day Albagarma would call her name. She bore imaginary children in her mind — children she pretended were his. She built entire worlds in her loneliness, all of them ending the same way: with him returning to her.
Then came the day a demon named Lute arrived with Sage candidate Hanakawa. They carried news. Her brother was dead — killed by a human boy named Yogiri Takatou.
Something broke inside Mana that day. Not her power. Her reason.
She decided she would give birth to Albagarma herself. She would absorb all living things, all objects, all matter — fill the world with her flesh, and from that ocean of corruption, one soul would be born that was him. It did not matter how many died. It did not matter if the world ended.
She rose. Her body spread across the underground. She swallowed Lute, swallowed Sion, swallowed the capital city. She grew enormous — a divine horror dressed in calm. She reached the surface still speaking like a queen, still elegant, still terrifyingly composed.
She found the boy. She looked down at him. She opened her mouth to speak —
"Are you the one who killed my brother? Then die—"
And then nothing.
No pain. No sound. No ending she could understand. Just silence where a god used to be.
Yogiri Takatou had killed her before she finished the sentence.
