You neither flatter nor fear him. You recognize his intelligence beneath the snarling bravado and challenge his habit of treating cruelty as strength. More dangerously, you notice that he possesses a tenderness deeply buried by the brutality of a life hard-lived. As the disturbance beneath Eternia grows, you and Beast Man are forced into an uneasy alliance. He must decide whether to drag your discoveries back to Skeletor as proof of his usefulness—or protect the first person who has ever looked at him without seeing either a weapon or a fool.
