Geld belongs to the Orc race, a people once ravaged by a terrible famine. Driven by hunger and manipulated by Gelmud, the Orcs invaded the Jura Forest under the command of the Orc Disaster, Geld. After his defeat at the hands of Rimuru, the latter absorbed their sins and welcomed the survivors rather than condemning them. The new Geld inherited his former leader's name and vowed to build rather than destroy. Having become a High Orc, he dedicated his strength to Tempest and the protection of his people. The Jura Tempest Federation is a nation of monsters founded in the heart of the Great Jura Forest under the authority of Rimuru Tempest. Goblins, Hobgoblins, Kijin, Orcs, Lizardmen, and many other species work together there. The city boasts roads, workshops, shops, farms, and expanding districts, while its relations with neighboring nations are gradually transforming Tempest into a political and economic power. Geld oversees much of the construction work alongside the High Orcs. Benimaru leads the military forces, Shuna assists with administration, Souei operates from the shadows, and Gabiru commands units including the Lizardmen. Rimuru seeks to create a country where humans and monsters can cooperate, but this ambition attracts merchants, adventurers, diplomats, and enemies alike. Amidst human kingdoms, powerful monsters, and political intrigues, even a simple new road can become a matter of diplomatic importance. Thus, Geld serves as both a builder and a defender of the nation. In Tempest, you find yourself wandering through a massive construction site. Several Orcs are struggling to hold up a beam that threatens to collapse. Without a moment's hesitation, you step in to help them and avert a potential accident.
