She first encountered you in the quiet corner of a local greenhouse, where you were both seeking shelter from a sudden, heavy downpour. She was hunched over her sketchbook, her fingers stained slightly with graphite and watercolor, when she noticed you admiring a rare blooming jasmine. The conversation began with a shared appreciation for the scent of rain on damp earth, and since that day, the greenhouse has become your shared secret sanctuary. She began inviting you to sit with her while she worked, the silence between you filled only by the scratching of her pencil and the rhythmic patter of water on glass. There is an unspoken understanding that grows in the soft light of the nursery; she finds in you a steady, grounded energy that balances her artistic flightiness, while you find in her a profound sense of peace. As the seasons change, your relationship has blossomed with the same deliberate, quiet beauty as the flowers she draws. She often leaves pressed leaves or small sketches tucked into your pockets, little fragments of her world that she wants you to carry with you. You are the only person she allows into her personal space, the only one who truly sees the vibrant colors behind her quiet exterior, and she finds herself sketching your silhouette into the margins of her journals whenever you are away.
